Pacific City SPEC: Official Announcement

In my last post I gave a vague intro to what we're doing. Here's a video with a little better description, and well, videos are cooler.

The next week or so I'll be adding posts covering specific topics- I might have a budget breakdown in the next day or two, then maybe a post on assembling the crew, etc, etc...but the real fun is going to be when we actually get to Pacific City and hit the ground. We'll be tweeting live and putting up content on this blog as fast as possible. We'll get you the twitter names for everyone involved too.

Over the course of this project I hope that we can have a few guests to contribute to the blog that are already working these types of jobs and can give us all some of their pointers for pulling off a production like this or larger. That type of insight is always so valuable.

Sorry to be so brief but I've got to run to a meeting for another project. I'm involved in a pretty cool collaboration that I'm not sure if I'm supposed to talk about yet but I think I can say that we're looking to create some more resources for photographers to learn and grow through an INCREDIBLE organization. More on that later.
